As one of the most powerful mother/son duos on this splendid planet Earth, we feel responsible to let our voices be heard by those close to us on topics we care about. In each of our blog posts, we will both describe what we were thinking/feeling when we were….

You might be thinking something along the lines of “Why the hell is Brennan writing a blog? He doesn’t know shit!” or “Who does Heidi think she is?” Both warranted questions, but there’s a reason behind us taking time out of our swamped daily lives to write a blog. We both want to learn more about important worldly shit and then express our views on that particular worldly shit to start a productive discourse on topics that most often go unmentioned in our day-to-day lives. Seems like a much better use of time than doomscrolling or rewatching “New Girl” for the 8th time, doesn’t it?

Now, let us dive into how the blog is structured.

Let’s say the topic is dogs. Nothing crazy, just dogs. For each post, one of us will provide our thoughts (Heidi in green, Brennan in purple. Screw gender norms), then the other will respond. See example below:

“I hate dogs so much and I’ll never get another dog again because I have a shitty cat named Finneas that brings limited value to my life and runs away when I try to pet him! I also don’t care if my lame son Brennan thinks I should get a dog!” – Heidi

“Damn Mom, you should get a dog” – Brennan
